Your tattoo is about you! Let us make it uniquely yours

Roberto Carlos was born in 1985 in Cuba. As a child he was very interested in art and drawing. This predilection followed him through his teenage years, where he enrolled at the local University to study art. It was during this time that he was exposed to different mediums of art, and where tattoo magazines ignited his interest in tattooing. Roberto credits Mr. Robert Hernández as a major source of inspiration and a driving force in spurring Robert into pursuing tattooing as a hobby. After finishing University the opportunity to work in Venezuela presented itself. This afforded him the ability to buy his first professional tattoo kit.

In 2014 Roberto started his own tattoo studio and thus the beginning of his professional tattooing career began. In the coming years he participated in several tattoo conventions in Venezuela, Colombia, Italy, and Germany. The exposure and experience gained during these conventions heavily encouraged him to work harder and devote himself wholly to his career.

Roberto’s favorite tattoo styles are Realism and Surrealism. He has also explored and absorbed Oriental, Traditional, and Neo Traditional styles and applied these to his realistic and surrealistic pieces to elevate his own unique approach.

What you need to know before getting a tattoo

Choosing where to get tattooed can be an important decision as it will affect how the tattoo looks and feels. Here are some tips to help you choose the best location for your tattoo:

1. Think about visibility

Do you want your tattoo to be visible to everyone or do you prefer it to be more discreet? If you want to show off your tattoo, choose a body part that is easy to see, such as the forearm, shoulder, or leg. If you prefer it to be more private, consider places like the back or chest.

2. Consider sensitivity

Some parts of the body are more sensitive than others, which can make the tattoo process more painful. If you are sensitive to pain, you may want to avoid areas like the ribs, neck, or feet.

3. Consider size

If your tattoo is large, you may want to choose a body part that has enough space to accommodate it. On the other hand, if your tattoo is small, you can opt for smaller and more discreet places, such as the ankle or wrist
